When browsing the website www.scopex.fr (hereinafter the “Website”), SCOPEX may collect and process personal data.

Personal data (hereinafter “Personal Data”) means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An “identifiable natural person” is a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

To maintain the trust of all users (hereinafter the “User”), the Company invites them to read this policy, which describes the data collected, how it is used and the rights available to the User, in accordance with amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.

The Company undertakes not to process the User’s Personal Data for purposes other than those set out in this privacy policy (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”).

1. WHO COLLECTS YOUR DATA?

SCOPEX, a French limited liability company registered with the Lorient Trade and Companies Register under SIREN number 449981570, whose registered office is located at Zone d’activités Keneah Nord, 4 Rue du Morbihan, 56400 Plougoumelen, France (hereinafter the “Company”).

The Company collects and processes certain Personal Data relating to the User in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below.

2.1. Data collected from the User

The User may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each email or by submitting a request using the contact details above.

Withdrawal of the User’s consent and/or unsubscription from the newsletter will apply only for the future and will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out previously.

3. WHO ARE OUR PROCESSORS?

The Company uses a processor to manage and maintain the Website, host the Personal Data collected through the Website, and manage the collection of consent through the cookie management banner.

The Company guarantees that each processor is established within the European Union and provides sufficient guarantees that appropriate technical and organisational measures have been implemented so that the processing complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act.

The processor may be authorised to subcontract all or part of the processing operations, subject to strict compliance with Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and this Privacy Policy.

However, as the data controller, the Company remains the User’s sole point of contact.

4. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

In accordance with applicable regulations, every User has rights in relation to their Personal Data.

To facilitate the processing of the request, the User is advised to include a copy of their identity document and, if they wish to ensure that their request can be tracked, to send it by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.

4.1. Rights of access, objection, restriction, erasure and rectification

In accordance with applicable regulations, the User has the right to:

access any of their Personal Data held by the Company;
update any of their Personal Data that is outdated or inaccurate;
restrict the manner in which the Company processes their Personal Data;
ask the Company to provide them with a copy of any Personal Data it holds about them;
object to the use of their Personal Data.

4.2. Right to data portability

The User has the right to data portability and may request that the Company provide their Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

4.3. Right to issue instructions concerning Personal Data after death

In accordance with applicable regulations, the User may issue instructions concerning the use of their data after their death, for example regarding its retention, deletion or disclosure. The User may amend or withdraw these instructions at any time.

4.4. Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL

The User is informed of their right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the CNIL in France: www.cnil.fr) if the Company fails to comply with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions when managing their Personal Data.

Users’ Personal Data is stored on servers hosted within the European Union.
