ChemLight® Light Sticks

Used for over 40 years by armed forces worldwide, ChemLight® Light Sticks by Cyalume® are particularly suited to tactical night operations or for night training safety.

They are non-toxic and non-flammable. They produce no heat, gas or sparks.

Recommended for:
– Unit identification
– Marking of aerial drop zones
– Helicopter landing zones
– Signaling of obstacles or hazards

Several models are available, if different sizes, durations and colors. Also exists in an IR version.

The example shown here is a chemiluminescent light stick with a glow time of 24 hours, for one-off use. It provides 360° indication out to 1.6km.
It can be broken in order to spread its contents over dry ground for marking purposes.
