Vessel Arrest Boom

Vessel Arrest Systems‘ VA Boom static barrier creates a maritime security barrier (below-water entanglement of the propeller resulting in a controlled stop).
It creates a clear demarcation line in the water and provides a less-than-lethal solution to prevent unauthorised vessels from penetrating a water-based security zone.

Each length of barrage is anchored to the seabed and has a marking system on the surface.

The floating VA Boom is manufactured using high-performance synthetic fibre rope and is capable of fouling any propulsion system.
The below-water geometry of the system is tested and approved to entangle boat propellers up to 1000 HP.
