Disruptors against vehicle-borne IEDs

Powerful shaped charge disruptors intended for use against vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs), generally located in the trunk.

These disruptors, produced by Alford Technologies, are used to project water that penetrates and ejects the contents of the vehicle. The IEDs are neutralized and dismantled by the water jet, without being triggered.

Two disruptor models are available:
– BootBanger™: powerful shaped charge disruptor
– MLVD™: modular shaped charge disruptor; its modularity allows charges to be attached to fit the size of the target
