Vessel Arrest Systems‘ Vessel Arrest Rapid Deployment (VARD) is a versatile and rapid deployment vessel arrest system that consists of a boom line that is deployed whilst underway, from its dedicated packaging, from a boat or a jet ski.

It is a less-than-lethal alternative to stopping or detaining suspect vessels. The net is manufactured using a high-performance synthetic fibre rope and is capable of fouling any propulsion system. The below-water geometry of the system is tested and approved to entangle boat propellers up to 1000 HP.

The rapidly-deployed barrage can be secure inside or outside the boat.
